EU Settlement Scheme – Help
There is limited time available to apply for pre settled or settled status for EU citizens (and others) living in the United Kingdom who wish to stay here after the country withdraws from the European Union.
In order to continue living in the UK after 30th June 2021, you must apply to the EU settlement scheme or for citizenship before 30th June 2021 or before 31st December if the UK leaves the EU without a ‘deal’ (www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families, (accessed 23rd January 2020, 1445 hrs).
Anyone who is in this position is strongly advised to read the information on the www.gov.uk website, which details what rules apply to whom and under what circumstances and also lists ways to obtain additional help and information. It is also possible that your local Citizens Advice office can offer some support and assistance in the process although we cannot complete an application for you. Why not call in and make an appointment? Alternatively, you can call Adviceline on 03444 111444.
